We joined a full room of other 3rd sector organisations and statutory partners at the PCC’s annual Third Sector Conference at Unity Works in Wakefield. Good to hear the outline for the new Police and Crime Plan 2016-2021 and know that we share in the priorities around supporting victims and safeguarding vulnerable people, particularly in the areas of sexual abuse, domestic abuse, hate crime, so called ‘honour’ based abuse and mental health. We look forward to working more closely with the PCC and the local third sector network to keep delivering excellent and much needed services to some of Wakefield’s most vulnerable women.
