We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced counsellor to join our team.
Well Women Centre is a local charity offering holistic mental health and wellbeing services to women in the Wakefield District.
The post holder will work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and the other Counselling Team Leader to co-ordinate the delivery of our counselling services. They will have a small caseload of clients that have multiple and complex needs and will have line management responsibility for a small team of staff and volunteer counsellors. This post offers a great development opportunity for someone looking to enhance their clinical knowledge in a thriving service.
- Working collaboratively to co-ordinate delivery of WWC counselling services, including IAPT.
- Shared line management duties of staff IAPT counsellors and counselling volunteers; undertaking regular individual performance reviews and case management.
- Working closely with other members of the WWC team ensuring appropriate stepped care and integrated service approach.
- Shared responsibility for monitoring appropriateness of referrals into the services
- Safeguarding duties
- Based within the centre, a women only space, and including some home working
